Vigils are a great way to visit with your loved ones. I will create a welcoming and calm space for loved ones to gather and share treasured moments with their loved ones. Vigils can take place in the home, hospice center and even the hospital room.

During our time together, we will collaborate on what your loved one would like for their memorial services. We will then work to actively connect you to local businesses that can assist you with the specifics of your plan.
In addition to services, death doulas are able to help you create a legacy project for your loved one. Whether that is compiling pictures, creating shadow boxes, assisting in anniversary celebration etc.

When loved ones are on hospice care or in the hospital, sometimes they require the round the clock presence of someone there to help keep them comfortable. This includes reading to them, talking with them, keeping a watchful eye and giving the same care and dignity that you would. I also can take care of the immediate post mortem care of a gentle wash, combing your hair and light preparation before family comes to see you.

Our doulas are trained in the art of caring for your body immediately post mortem, and/or empowering your loved ones to. In addition to this, your doula is able to assist you with home funeral arrangements as well as coordinating with local funeral homes.
