Meet Your Doula

Hey there! My name is Janine E.  Rajauski. I grew up right outside of Northeast Philadelphia in Huntingdon Valley, PA. I attended college at Penn State Abington for a 3+2 combined Bachelor's and Master's Program. I earned my Bachelors in Psychological and Social Sciences and went on to earn my Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy from Thomas Jefferson University in 2019. 

After graduate school, I went right into work as an independent contractor working in schools and homes of children 0-5. I had heard of death doulas, but never thought that would be a path for me until I experienced a few deaths including one of a client. During their final weeks I did every thing in my power to help them maintain their dignity and continue to be able to be a kid. That experience plopped me right into the middle of death care and I found myself taking the End of Life Doula Training with Alua Arthur and Going with Grace. Since graduating the ELOT Program, I have become a National End-of-Life Doula Alliance Proficient Provider. 

In addition to my work as an occupational therapist and death doula, I am an avid scuba diver, explorer and nonprofit president.
